VEUVEVEUVEVOOM

2008 Grey filly by Superior Premium ex Gran Clicquot (Gran Alba)

In training with (Currently out of training)

VeuveVeuveVoom is the first foal of 3 times flat winner Gran Clicquot. Her sire, Superior Premium, proved himself as a very durable and classy sprinter winning 11 races between 5 and 6 furlongs including the Group 2 Cork and Orrey Stakes at Royal Ascot and well over £250,000 in prizemoney.
VeuveVeuveVoom remained at the Homebred Stud until the Autumn 2009 when she was backed and ridden away. After 6 weeks roadwork she has been transferred to full training in Lewes. VeuveVeuveVoom is currently in training for a 2-y-o campaign and made her debut over 6 furlongs at Lingfield Park on 5th June showing very good speed. She is already well grown and shows all the attributes for being able to win as a 2-year-old and has the build to make a sprinter in due course. She has a quick, low action suggesting that she'll be suited by top of the ground conditions. We expect her to continue to run throughout this summer.

KEEP A WELCOME

2003 Chesnut gelding by Most Welcome ex Celtic Chimes

In training with Gerry Enright, Lewes

‘Gwyl’ was a late foal and was given plenty of time to develop and was only broken and ridden away as a two year old and has subsequently been given a few runs on the flat for education and has now been turned away to mature. Most Welcome is one of Britain’s leading stallions having sired the winners of over 500 races and £6 million in prizemoney. He was a top class racehorse being a winner of the Group 1 Lockinge Stakes and earning a Timeform rating of 131. Celtic Chimes, a daughter of Celtic Cone, was an exceptionally tough winning racemare who ran on the flat and over jumps. A half-brother to Welsh Assembly, a winning 2-year-old over 6 furlongs and to winning miler Homebred Star, Keep A Welcome's future lies over jumps. He is now well grown and is currently running on the all-weather in preparation for novice hurdling.
