Bayardo 1906Bayardo was one of the outstanding horses of the first half of the twentieth century. Although he was beaten in both the 2000 Guineas and the Derby. Bayardo retired the winner of twenty-two of his twenty-five races and his grandson Hyperion became one of the great prepotent stallions.
