POLARITY
|
| |
2006 Bay filly by Hamas ex Snowy Mantle (Siberian Express) In training
with James Bethell, Yorkshire
Polarity is a bay filly out of our winning miler Snowy Mantle who is by Group 1 winning sprinter Siberian Express, making her half sister to multiple winner Snowed Under and to our very fast filly Divine White. Her sire Hamas, by the legendary Danzig out of a mare who won the Group 1 Matron Stakes at Belmont Park, was a top class performer on the racetrack too winning Europe's top sprint the Group 1 July Cup by an easy three lengths. Polarity was broken and ridden away last winter and after completing her roadwork in late spring joined James Bethell in mid summer. During her time in training Polarity has continued to grow into an exceptionally scopey filly whose racecourse debut we've decided to delay until her 3-year-old season in 2009. |

KEEP A WELCOME
|
| |
2003 Chesnut gelding by Most Welcome ex Celtic Chimes In training
with Stewart Parr, Nottinghamshire
‘Gwyl’ was a late foal and was given plenty of time to develop and was only broken and ridden away as a two year old and has subsequently been given a few runs on the flat for education and has now been turned away to mature. Most Welcome is one of Britain’s leading stallions having sired the winners of over 500 races and £6 million in prizemoney. He was a top class racehorse being a winner of the Group 1 Lockinge Stakes and earning a Timeform rating of 131. Celtic Chimes, a daughter of Celtic Cone, was an exceptionally tough winning racemare who ran on the flat and over jumps. A half-brother to Welsh Assembly, a winning 2-year-old over 6 furlongs and to winning miler Homebred Star, Keep A Welcome's future lies over jumps. He is now well grown and is currently being prepared to run over hurdles in 2009.

HOMEBRED STAR
|
| |
2001 Chesnut gelding by Safawan ex Celtic Chimes (Celtic Cone). In training
with Gerry Enright, Lewes
'Dixey' is a compact, exceptionally strong gelding. The Cheveley Park stallion Safawan was the brilliant miler of his generation winning 7 times including Group races the Lockinge Stakes and Goodwood's Golden Mile. 'Dixey' is out of our very tough winning Celtic Cone mare making him half brother to our 2 year old winner Welsh Assembly. He is already a winner over a mile and after a good break at home is now back in training and will continue to be campaigned on the flat. Homebred Star is a horse with an electric turn of foot who needs to be held up to deliver a late challenge which makes him great entertainment value and is also likely to run abroad in 2009. |
